Definitions
- “Company”

- “Carrier”
- Licensed transport company contracted to move the vehicle.
- “Customer”
- Individual or entity requesting vehicle shipping.
- “Vehicle”
- The automobile identified on the signed order and Bill of Lading.

Scope of Service
Forest Grove Auto Broker arranges enclosed vehicle transportation through licensed and insured carriers. The Company is not the carrier of record and acts solely as an arranging broker.

Scheduling
Pickup and delivery dates are estimates. Delays due to weather, traffic, shop schedules, mechanical issues, or regulatory factors do not constitute a breach of agreement and are considered normal transport risk.

Insurance
Vehicles are insured by the Carrier while in transit up to the declared value shown on the Carrier’s documentation. Coverage excludes pre-existing damage, cosmetic wear, or personal items not part of the vehicle.

Vehicle Condition
The Customer must disclose any inoperable condition, lowered suspension, oversized tires, or clearance concerns before pickup. Non-disclosure may result in additional handling fees or refusal of transport by the Carrier.

Payment
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due directly to the Carrier at delivery by certified funds, wire transfer, or other accepted method indicated on the transport confirmation.

Cancellations
Orders cancelled before driver assignment are fully refundable. Once a Carrier has been dispatched, up to twenty percent (20%) of the total transport cost may be retained to cover dispatch and routing expenses.

Liability
Forest Grove Auto Broker acts strictly as a broker and assumes no liability for loss, delay, or damage during transport beyond the Carrier’s insurance limits and policy terms. Any claims for damage must be noted on the Bill of Lading at delivery and filed directly with the Carrier.

Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon. Venue for any dispute shall be Yamhill County, Oregon, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
